We are a leading supplier of Treated Transmission Wood Poles, Power Distribution Transformers and Cables & Conductors. We also deal in Metals, Chemicals, Packaging Materials, Jute Bags and Fertilizers Lubricant stationers. Richardson and David Ltd further holds agencies for chemicals and lubricants, Geo thermal Spares, Machinery, Port Equipments etc. We have attained a maximum annual turnover of 110 Million. We have accumulated significant experience over the past few years as a Supplier / Contractor / Disposal body for The Kenya Power & Lighting Co. Ltd., Nairobi, Kenya (KPLC). We have been awarded contracts by KPLC for the supply of Treated Transmission Wood Poles for KPLC’s regular maintenance work and Rural Electrification Projects. We undertook the exercise of global sourcing of Treated Transmission Poles and we have from 2006 to date, supplied in excess of 100,000 poles of 10 metre, 11 metre & 12 metre sizes worth over USD 20 Million. The poles were sourced from South Africa, Zimbabwe and several South American countries, including Uruguay, Brazil. Argentina and Chile, apart from Kenya and Tanzania regionally. The poles supplied are of excellent quality that meet and in most cases exceeds the prescribed dimensions; chemical penetration; retention; strength requirements as per South African (SABS); Kenya Standards (KS-516, KS-02-94) and KPLC specifications.
